I absolutely love this 90s-inspired makeup an artist from Tom Ford Beauty created for me for a recent event! So today, I’d like to walk you through some of the key products we used to achieve this look.
Ok, let’s talk about the makeup heroes of this look starting with the Shade & Illuminate Highlighter & Shader Duo. Love it because it creates the most realistic-looking shadows, and blends beautifully! We used the shader just under my cheekbones to sculpt the face and emphasize facial structure, and added a bit of glow with the highlighter just on top of my cheekbones and on the bridge of the nose. In case you missed the last time I raved about this highlighter… it creates a gorgeous, natural glow, so if you’re not a fan of super strong glittery highlighters, you should definitely check it out!
We decided to go for a bold eye look, so the artist used a shimmery lavender shade from the Eye Color Quad Eyeshadow Palette in Pretty Baby on the outer corners of my eyes, and Cream Color for Eyes in shade Sphinx in the inner corners. By the way, the Cream Color for Eyes shadows from Tom Ford are my absolute favorite topper shadows ever! The shade Sphinx is a particularly gorgeous gold/pink dual chrome. Love the multidimensional shine it creates!
Last but not least are the lips. We decided to go for that 90s darker lip liner/glossy lip look, so the artist used a Lip Sculptor in shade Instigate just to line my lips and filled the rest of the mouth in with Gloss Luxe Moisturizing Lip Gloss in shade Aura. Next, he used a lip brush to blend the liner with the gloss to eliminate that harsh line.
